One of the few organisations to have retained the adjective "Royal" after 1987.
An expensive club for local people, but very welcoming to visitors from other yach clubs.

This place held many memories of my time here with my parents. The studio and my parent's flat used to be able to see the sea and beautiful farm land around. Sadly the sea had been reclaimed and it is now many miles away. The numerous new buildings meant no sea view at all now. Good example of the term 'concrete jungle', and like a real jungle, they spread further and further! The natural beauty of the place destroyed for the sake of housing.

I used to live across the road in Kai Tak Mansion. From the balcony I remembered seeing this place and many officers often sat drinking tea or Coke in the store underneath Kai Tak Mansion. What memories!
